Val Harrison earned a bachelor's degree in Speech Communication from Olivet Nazarene University in 1994. She has spent over twenty years teaching speech classes to homeschool students while also teaching her seven children at home. Val is passionate about equipping students to communicate effectively for the glory of God, to enrich relationships, and to help students effectively share their unique message both publicly and in interpersonal settings. She also has a ministry to encourage and equip intentional parents to build strong families. Speaking at conventions, leading parenting classes, and speaking at retreats for over two decades, she shares the message that your family, even with all its unique personalities, imperfections, and scars is God’s masterpiece in the making.
